I met Linell and John through our adoption agency from Vietnam. They received their referral for a baby girl just before Vietnam closed adoptions to the US, after waiting about 2 years. On 01/08/2009, they begin their long journey to finally meet their new daughter Kaya (born 07/13/2008). Kaya is absolutely beautiful and I will post a picture of her after their Giving & Receiving Ceremony in Vietnam, which is 01/12/2009.

Please pray for Linell, John and Kaya as they travel around the world to be united and become a family of 3!!!

Another trip to see my big family in Altoona....

I'm always so busy when I get to see my gram, pap, aunts uncles and cousins in Altoona, but thanks to my big sis, there are always lots of pictures to share, so here are a few of them and did you notice, they all include ME!!!

ON THIS 4TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 2008...IT'S FINAL....

November 4, 2008, was a big day for many, as it was a very important Election Day. For us, it marks another historical and joyous day, we had our finalization in court, so from this day forward, Kaden is finally, officially and lawfully ours forever and forever!!!

Also on November 4th, I would like to wish HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my niece, Jayme!! We love you! Now you and Kaden share a special day!!

It finally happened...Kaden slept through the night!!!

Kaden slept for over 10 hours straight with a little wimpering here and there, but he stayed asleep ALL NIGHT! He finally woke up at 8:00 a.m. I don't want to jinx ourselves, he may have just been wiped out from his head cold, but we can only hope that this is the beginning of a good sleep pattern. Barry is disappointed though, he missed holding and feeding Kaden before he went to work, so he was bummed out about that! Me on the other hand, I just rolled over and went back to sleep!!!
