Update with Pictures...

I know, I know....long time, no post. We're always busy, with not a second to spare (most of the time). When I do have a minute, I just want to plop myself on the sofa!!

So just for a quick update...
Kaden, our 2-year-old toddler is now 30 pounds and quite a handsome little man. He is putting 2 and 3 words together with no problem, sometimes says an entire phrase, but he is the only one who knows what he is saying. He likes things his way and doesn't like to compromise. He loves to throw things (especially at Maddy, although not always intentional). He is very good to her though, gives her toys, bottle, blankets, actually anything that he doesn't want!!! He loves the pool on those rare days that it's even warm enough to go in. He sleeps a good 12 hours every night. Still likes to swat, but just us when he doesn't get his own way or is tired. He totally understands time out and does well with that form of discipline. He's not crazy about getting his picture taken, although we do manage to get a smile here and there. He loves to climb and jump which is probably the worst thing right now as we're afraid he will get hurt when he does a belly flop off the couch. There is no fear in this kid. He is definitely the light of our lives!!

Madison, our 9 month old baby/toddler. She is a bundle of joy. She is short and sweet, being in 20th percentile for height and 75th for weight. LOL....Just like me!!!! She sure does bring a smile to anyone who will give her attention and she has the cutest smile. She babbles constantly. She picks on Kaden, always following him around and wanting to touch him and pull his hair, hands, feet, or anything that she can. She is very mobile, not by crawling or walking, but by rolling and scooting on her belly. She can go across the living room floor on her tummy in a heart beat, but often times gets tuckered out and lays her head down for a split second before she is back at it again. She is not far from pulling herself up to stand and can definitely get herself into trouble. She loves to mimmick and does this well. She too, likes things her way. She does share her toys with Kaden, but I'm sure this passive trait won't last much longer. She still doesn't sleep through the night, gets up once between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m. and then back to sleep for a few more hours. Loves her swing, hates her crib. She too brightens our lives.

So, I'm including a few recent photos of the dynamic duo!!!!
